Your Right to Delete Data
At Safari Ride, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
What Data Will Be Deleted
- Your personal information (name, phone number)
- Your profile photo and verification documents
- Your trip history and booking records
- Your ratings and reviews
- Your wallet transaction history
- Your chat messages
- Your location history
⚠️ Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: In-App Deletion
- Open Safari Ride app
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
Option 2: Email Request
Send email to support@safariride.co.ke with:
- Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
- Your registered phone number
- Your full name
Processing Time
We will process your deletion request within 30 days.
Data We May Retain
- Transaction records (for tax purposes) - up to 7 years
- Data required for legal disputes
- Anonymized data for analytics
